Neighbor InformationThe WSTC operates in a residential neighborhood by way of a special permit with the Town of Wayland. With respect to our desire to operate as a friendly neighbor, the Club allows our 17 household abutters* (18 total abutters includes the Town of Weston) to join without waitlist restriction. Eligible abutters interested in joining may contact the Club at any time (see "Club Management") and membership will be offered subject to our bylaws, including the same bond and dues requirements as all regular members. Neighbor memberships may be enjoyed by the owner occupant and his or her residing family only. If an abutter prefers not to become a member, they are still welcome to use the facilities as a guest of the Club, up to 12 total household visits each season. Abutters are simply asked to sign in as all members do, and note on sign in that you are an abutter guest. *214, 215, 219, 223, 229, 233, 237, 238, 241, and 244 Glezen Lane. 1, 7, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18, and 19 Autumn Lane You can find current schedules under Events for and the swim and dive meets along with the club social events, where increased Club activity is anticipated. Meets generally last two to four hours and begin in the mornings; social events are scheduled for evenings. To reduce the impact to the neighborhood during swim meets, overflow parking is directed to Claypit Hill School, with member volunteers shuttling participants to the Club. A police detail is also hired to patrol the entrance. |
