Neighbor Information

The WSTC operates in a residential neighborhood by way of a special permit with the Town of Wayland.  With respect to our desire to operate as a friendly neighbor, the Club allows our 17 household abuttors* (18 total abuttors includes the Town of Weston) to join without wait list restriction.  Eligible abuttors interested in joining should contact the Club at any time (see "Club Management"), and membership will be offered subject to our bylaws, including the same bond and dues requirements as all other members.  Neighbor memberships may be enjoyed by the owner occupant and his or her residing family only.

If an abuttor would prefer not to become a member, they are still welcome to use the facilities as a guest of the Club, up to twelve total household visits each season.  Abuttors are simply asked to sign in as all members do, and note on sign in that you are an abuttor guest.

FYI, below is a schedule of our home swim and dive meets, along with the club social event "Hawaiian Night", with increased Club activity expected on these days.  Meets generally last two to four hours and begin in the mornings and the social event is an evening event.

To reduce the impact to the neighborhood during the swim meets, overflow parking is directed to Claypit Hill School, with member volunteers shuttling participants.  A police detail is also hired to patrol the entrance.
